The Club’s AGM will be held at 7.00pm on Monday 28th February in the lounge on the 2nd floor at the Brunton Hall. Seniors, Juniors and Parents of Juniors are welcome to attend – new committee members are always welcome.
February Week – No holiday for the Junior Section
There will be a training session as normal for the Junior section on Wednesday 16th February.
Indoor League Kelvin Hall, Glasgow (Juniors)
The Junior section will be competing at the indoor athletics league at Kelvin Hall, Glasgow on Sunday 20th February. The bus will leave Musselburgh Grammar School at 8:15 am sharp and return at approximately 3.00pm. Parents are encouraged to come along. Edinburgh Indoor Open Graded Meeting
There will be an indoor open graded meeting held at Meadowbank Stadium on Sunday 27th February 2010. The event is open to all athletes aged 9 or over. The events will be 60m, 60m hurdles, shot putt, high jump and long jump. Entry forms & (entry fees) should be returned to the organiser or Mike Howard by Wednesday 16th February.
Junior Middle Distance / Cross-Country Training
We have been running middle distance training sessions for the juniors on Saturday mornings from 10am until 11am. Meet at the main entrance to Pinkie Park this Saturday 12th February. Please bring clothes to keep you warm & dry. Saturday training depends on the availability of the coaches so please check with Mike or Tony on Wednesdays if you want to take part in middle distance training. Tickets London 2012 Olympic Games
Applications for London 2012 Olympic Games tickets will open on Tuesday 15 March 2011 and will remain open for a period of six weeks, closing at 11.59pm on Tuesday 26 April 2011.The only way to apply for tickets is at the official website - www.tickets.london2012.com You can register your interest in advance on the website. The official London 2012 agency will allocate tickets on a ballot system rather than a first-come, first-served basis.

Edinburgh Marathon: Sunday 22nd May 2010
This year’s Edinburgh Marathon will be finishing in Musselburgh at the race track. As a club, we will be providing stewards, for which the club receives much needed funds. Festival Races - Saturday 23rd July – Your Club Needs You!
Musselburgh and District Athletic Club will be hosting the ‘Musselburgh Festival Races’ on Saturday 23rd July. The start and finish of the race will be at Loretto School’s playing fields on New Street. The 10k Race starts at 10.30 am and the Fun Run at 12 noon. We need lots of help on the day - with registration, marshalling the course, staffing water tables, handing out Goody Bags, etc. We will also be providing teas and cakes after the race so we need home baking and help organising the teas on the day.
The funding raised from this event provides a major contribution the costs of running of the club. It cannot happen without help from seniors and junior athletes and their families. If you can help in any way, please speak to Jan Oliver or
